Athar ( את'ר in hebrew) 

 is a newly established  non-profit association (Registration No. 580839181) dedicated to safeguarding Jerusalem’s cultural and social identity. Founded by professionals who believe that knowledge of the past is the cornerstone of a resilient future.

ATHAR Vision

To become a leading Jerusalem-based platform for introducing the Islamic and historical heritage of Jerusalem, promoting cultural dialogue, and preserving historical sites and landmarks for future generations.

ATHAR Messege 

ATHAR Association works to promote dialogue and familiarity with Islamic heritage between the local community and the international community, to share the culture and historical heritage of Jerusalem and the region, and to contribute to the preservation, restoration, and care of historical sites and buildings through knowledge, documentation, cultural activities, and institutional partnerships.
